SimplePropertyLedger is designed around a simple principle: your bookkeeping records belong to you and live on your device.

What we store

We only store the minimum account information required to verify your licence and give you access to the application. This is typically your email address, a licence identifier, and basic sign-in metadata provided by Google Sign-In.

What we never store

• Your properties
• Your transactions
• Mortgage information
• Receipts
• Reports
• Google Drive backup files

Local storage

All bookkeeping data is stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB. Clearing site data will remove it — please keep backups.

Google Drive backup

If you choose to enable Google Drive backup, encrypted backup files are written to your own Google Drive account. We do not receive or store copies.
